All is well . Nice that Mart and Yan are thinking of coming over. Bit wet in August so I'd come xmas time myself. Not much to say as I've become a worker again and the system is a tad shocked. I think I like not working more than most people. 1'm going to put a picture up of my grapefruit tree as it's covered in grapefruit. This is to be expected but it's still cool.
My lemmon and Orange trees have let me down. About six on each. I counted 122 grapefruit on a small tree.
I'll count the lemmons and oranges in the morning just so I know for sure.

winter

The sunset is from our deck . It's mid winter now and really not to bad. We had one frost that was gone by 8.00 am and only around 6 cloudy grey days in the last year. Winter days average 6 hours of sunshine .It can chill down at night but the days are fine. If the wind comes up from the south it can get coldish . It can rain heavy and a few months ago we had 500mmm of rain in three days. Its hilly so it drains away fast. Today was wet and grey and reminded me of home. The home sickness is passed and now I wonder why I lived in the UK for so long.
I've landed a well paying job doing magic in the casino on week day nights. It pays around 30,000 pounds for the year. This is a very high wage in NZ. Well into the top tax bracket -shame. I only do 20 hours a week ..
If I keep the job for the year we will be right back on track. Deb is teaching full time for around 16000 a yr and she is well up the scale. So as you can see i'm donig ok.
Auckland is growing up fast and her illness seems to be going away. The truck is mine and I got it to help put the planet out of it's missery. It would be great if anyone came to stay but I guess that's not likely as its a long way and no one likes me.

Heard about the car bombs on the web, looked a bit crap like a moronic school boy job to me. If all they can manage is a bit of petrol and a camping stove then AL queda aren't all the are cracked up to be.
